The Secret to Bars That Don’t Crumble
The mix has to look glossy and sticky before you press it. If a handful falls apart, add another spoon of maple or a couple more dates. Press hard — really hard — so there are no air pockets. Chill until firm before you move them.
Frequently Asked Questions ❓
Can I use different nuts? 🥜
Yes. Walnuts, cashews, or pecans all work. Keep the total amount the same.
Do they need the fridge? 🧊
Yes if your kitchen is warm. They soften at room temperature.
Are they nut-free possible? 🌻
Use extra pumpkin and sunflower seeds plus tahini instead of nut butter.

I also mixed them longer in food processor for smaller pieces, as my husband has dentures and I prefer smaller pieces.
