Ingredients (Makes 2 round casseroles or 1 large 9×13)

  • 2 lbs (900g) ground beef (or mix with sausage)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) low-sugar marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3–4 cups (300–400g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, or your favorite low-carb toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Divide mixture between two foil pans or spread in a large baking dish.
