Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1½ lbs (680g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
- ¾ cup (180ml) heavy cream
- ⅓ cup (35g) grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream, parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley.
