Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1½ lbs (680g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¾ cup (180ml) heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup (35g) grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream, parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley.
