High-Protein Keto Bacon Mushroom Quiche

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz (225g) bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
  • ½ cup (50g) grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (plus extra for garnish)

Optional Crust (for lower carbs, skip or use almond flour crust):

  • 1½ cups (150g) almond flour
  • ⅓ cup butter, melted
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). If using crust, mix almond flour, melted butter, and salt. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and pre-bake 8–10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in cheese, bacon, mushrooms, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Pour filling into the crust or directly into a greased pie dish.
  5. Bake 35–45 minutes until set and golden on top.
  6. Cool 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with extra parsley.
