High-Protein Keto Air Fryer Donuts

Ingredients (Makes 8 donuts)
- 1½ cups (150g) almond flour
- ⅓ cup (35g) vanilla whey protein powder
- ⅓ cup allulose or monk fruit sweetener
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp butter or coconut oil, melted
- ⅓ cup (80ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Sugar Coating:
- ⅓ cup allulose or powdered erythritol
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 2–3 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk almond flour, protein powder, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, almond milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Divide dough into 8 portions. Roll each into a ball, then flatten and poke a hole in the center to form a donut shape (or use a donut cutter).
- Place donuts on parchment paper in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 6–9 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Brush warm donuts with melted butter, then coat in the sweetener (and cinnamon) mixture.
