Ingredients

Instructions

  1. : Prep the beef. If needed, partially freeze the steak for 20–30 minutes, then slice it very thinly against the grain. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. 2. Cook the vegetables. Heat the oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, peppers, and mushrooms. Cook 6–8 minutes until softened and lightly browned. Stir in the garlic for 30 seconds, then transfer the vegetables to a plate. 3. Cook the steak. In the same skillet, add the sliced steak in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear 1–2 minutes per side until just cooked. Return the vegetables to the pan, add the Worcestershire sauce, and toss everything together. 4. Add the cheese and melt. Sprinkle the shredded provolone (and cheddar if using) evenly over the top. Place the skillet under the broiler for 2–4 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with parsley and serve.
