If you’re looking for a cake that’s simple, moist, and full of sunny orange goodness, this Vegan Orange Cake is the one. It’s unbelievably soft, packed with fresh citrus aroma, and topped with a luscious orange glaze that makes every bite irresistible.
I brought this to a house party and it disappeared fast — but honestly, I’ve been making it at home just for us too. It’s that good. And the best part? You don’t need to change a thing. The recipe is perfect as is!

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Wet ingredients
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1/2 cup neutral oil (sunflower, canola, etc.)
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

🍰 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the basics
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
2️⃣ Mix the dry bowl
Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3️⃣ Mix the wet bowl
In a separate bowl, combine orange juice, zest, oil, non-dairy milk, vanilla, and vinegar. Stir well.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Gently fold until smooth — don’t overmix!
5️⃣ Bake
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
6️⃣ Cool & glaze
Let the cake cool completely before glazing.
🍊 Orange Glaze (optional but AMAZING)
