Vegan Creamy Skillet Corn

✨ Sweet, Creamy & Totally Dairy-Free

This looks like a rich vegan creamed corn—but the magic is it’s made without any cream. It’s silky, slightly sweet, and perfect as a cozy side dish.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 3 cups corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • ¾ cup plant milk (unsweetened)
  • ¼ cup raw cashews (soaked 10 min OR use cashew butter)
  • 1 tbsp vegan butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional cheesy flavor)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Pinch of paprika or chili flakes (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Cream

Blend:

  • plant milk + cashews
    until smooth and silky

2️⃣ Sauté

In a pan:

  • melt vegan butter
  • sauté garlic (1–2 minutes)

3️⃣ Add Corn

Stir in corn and cook for 3–5 minutes


4️⃣ Pour Cream

Add blended sauce + nutritional yeast
Simmer until thick and creamy (about 5 minutes)


5️⃣ Season & Serve

Add salt, pepper, and paprika
Serve warm 🔥
