Vegan Chocolate Tart
Vegan Chocolate Tart — Silky, Rich & Made with Love 💛
This gorgeous Vegan Chocolate Tart was made by my son for his 14th birthday — and I couldn’t be prouder! 💫 He poured his heart (and plenty of melted chocolate!) into this luscious dessert, and it turned out absolutely perfect.
The crust is buttery and crisp, while the chocolate filling is smooth, dark, and melts in your mouth. You’d never guess it’s 100% plant-based! 🌱✨
🌿 Ingredients
For the crust:
- 1 ½ cups vegan cookies or graham crackers, crushed
- 4 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave
For the filling:
- 1 ½ cups dark chocolate chips (dairy-free)
- 1 cup coconut milk (full-fat for creaminess)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the crust:
Mix the crushed cookies, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup until the texture is like wet sand. Press evenly into a tart pan. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes (or bake at 350°F / 175°C for 8–10 mins if you prefer a firmer crust).
2️⃣ Make the chocolate filling:
In a saucepan, heat coconut milk until just simmering. Remove from heat and whisk in chocolate chips, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth and glossy.
3️⃣ Pour & set:
Pour the filling into the chilled crust, smooth the top, and refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours until firm.
4️⃣ Serve & enjoy:
Slice, serve, and prepare for happy faces all around! 😍
💡 Tips
🍓 Top with fresh berries or sea salt for a fancy touch.
🥥 For a nutty twist, add almond meal to the crust.
🔥 Let it sit at room temp for 10 minutes before slicing for that perfect creamy texture.
🎉 This Vegan Chocolate Tart is the definition of pure chocolate bliss — rich, velvety, and made with love by a young baker who’s already mastering the art of vegan desserts. 💚🍫
