🌿 Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour)
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar

For the sauce:

  • 1 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 ½ cups vegan mozzarella (shredded)
  • Fresh spinach or basil leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes, onions, or bell peppers

1️⃣ Prepare the dough:
In a small bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

2️⃣ Make the sauce:
In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.

3️⃣ Assemble the pizza:
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread on the sauce, sprinkle the vegan cheese, and add your favorite toppings.

4️⃣ Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
