⭐ Ingredients

(Simple & easily found in Canada, US, and UK.)

For the filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
    (or 1 tbsp chili powder + 1 tsp paprika + 1 tsp garlic powder + ½ tsp cumin)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra melt)

Wrap:

  • Large flour tortillas (10–12 inch)
  • Small crunchy tostada or a small tortilla fried crisp
  • 1–2 tbsp cooking oil (for searing)

👩‍🍳 How to Make It

1. Cook the beef

Brown ground beef in a pan.
Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning + water.
Simmer until thickened.

2. Build your crunch wrap

Place a large tortilla down.
Add in this order:

  1. Beef (the base)
  2. Cheddar cheese (melts into the beef)
  3. Crunchy tostada or crisp tortilla
  4. Lettuce
  5. Tomatoes
  6. Onions
  7. Mozzarella (optional but delicious)

3. Fold

Fold the tortilla edges toward the center until it’s fully closed.

4. Crisp it

Heat a nonstick pan with a little oil.
Place the crunch wrap seam-side down.
Cook until golden and crisp, then flip.

5. Slice and serve

Cut into wedges and enjoy that perfect warm + crunchy + melty combo!
