For the filling:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
(or 1 tbsp chili powder + 1 tsp paprika + 1 tsp garlic powder + ½ tsp cumin) - ½ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup diced onions
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra melt)
Wrap:
- Large flour tortillas (10–12 inch)
- Small crunchy tostada or a small tortilla fried crisp
- 1–2 tbsp cooking oil (for searing)
👩🍳 How to Make It
1. Cook the beef
Brown ground beef in a pan.
Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning + water.
Simmer until thickened.
2. Build your crunch wrap
Place a large tortilla down.
Add in this order:
- Beef (the base)
- Cheddar cheese (melts into the beef)
- Crunchy tostada or crisp tortilla
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Mozzarella (optional but delicious)
3. Fold
Fold the tortilla edges toward the center until it’s fully closed.
4. Crisp it
Heat a nonstick pan with a little oil.
Place the crunch wrap seam-side down.
Cook until golden and crisp, then flip.
5. Slice and serve
Cut into wedges and enjoy that perfect warm + crunchy + melty combo!
