  • 2 medium potatoes (russet or Yukon gold work best)
  • 1½ tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes for a spicy kick

  • Wash and peel the potatoes.
  • Slice very thinly (use a mandoline if possible).
  • Soak slices in cold water for 20–30 minutes to remove extra starch.
